Description

----Read if you dare, cause yeah, its kinda long xD----

17 years ago Amaya was born into a strict and old-fashioned hellhound clan called the Anei Clan of the Eastern Shadows. Born of Rein and Shoushi Deadwood with no other siblings, Amaya was brought up learning the traditions of the clan. At only age 4 she began harsh training in different fighting styles with her father, then three years later she was given a master named Damien to continue her training to more advanced fire and shadow magicary.

It only took 2 years for Damien to see the young girl's potential and claim her Dominance* as his own, forcing Amaya into her first relationship at the age of 9.

“You mean you refuse me!?” Damien glared at the small girl in front of him, she had just back talked him, her mate! That was never heard of in their clan before, women were suppose to be obedient off-spring carriers, nothing more, nothing less… yet she sat there calmly denying him!
“Yes…” Amaya spoke up, staring up at the man growing with anger, voice as level as ever, “I will not mate at such a young age because of your selfish demands.”
That’s it, he had it! Damien threw a punch at the at the small blonde-banged hell hound that was before him, She practically flew across the room with the hit, coughing as she slide down the wall clenching her stomach.
“You have no right to disobey me, bitch!” He was in front of her in an instant, holding her up by her throat, “I will punish you for your insolence.” He squeezed the gasping girl’s throat tighter, grinning.
Amaya’s eyes instantly narrowed at the man, it had only been 4 days and he was asking for children from her, she was 9 for god sakes, she had a right to say no!! She clawed at his arms, her lungs burning in agony without the air as her eyesight started to drift.
‘I-If I don’t fight back, he’ll kill me…’ and with that thought she swung her foot into his gut, forcing him to stumble backwards and drop her. She sat on the floor, selfishly sucking up the air to ease the burning feeling in her lungs, her eyesight coming back with a few blinks.
She almost thought it was over until she heard a low growl sounded, she looked up and her eyes widened at the male. He was standing there, fire pouring around his claws as he stepped close. “Your dead,” he snarled, eyes piercing into hers.
Amaya was instantly off the floor, she went to run but he grabbed the back of her neck and threw her into the table, she winced at the steam venting off her new burn, rolling out of the way as he tried to slash at her again. ‘S-shit’ was the only thing pacing through her mind as she grabbed one of the splintered legs of the now demolished table. She was scared, but she knew she had to defend herself, her eyes narrowed on Damien again, this time they shined with her intent on survival.
About an hour and a half later they were both standing in front of each other, panting and sweating, the room around them was practically falling apart; burn marks, holes, scratches, and broken furniture everywhere. It was nearing late hours, the blood they, and the room, were covered in gleamed by the moonlight coming in from the shattered windows.
“You t-think… you can… win!?” Damien snarled through his pants, he was surprised the child lasted this long, she was fast, he’d give her that much.
Amaya’s legs were shaking, she was practically crying her whole body was in pain, she was in much worse condition then him, but she refused to let him kill her off so easily, “I, have too!” He lunged at her again, she ducked and gripped the broken table leg tightly as she aimed it for his chest. She closed her eyes, but fluttered them open when she felt something warm spill onto her cheek, she looked up to see he actually didn’t move in time to avoid her attack, her eyes widened and she stumbled back, his limb body falling to the floor in front of her. She let her tears spill as she let her legs buckled, she sat there the rest of the night, in his pile of blood crying until the clan elders found them.

The elders found the two the next morning, they gave Damien a proper burial*, and punished Amaya accordingly. Amaya was taken out the next day, stripped of her clothes in front of the clan and whipped*, being forever scarred as someone who can never have another mate in the eyes of the clan again.
Amaya spent the rest of her childhood years as somewhat of an outcast, males were not allowed to speak with her, and females found her tainted. She grew up becoming a silent person, only going out to go to the human world to learn with her mother*. Her father was mad at first, even going as far as to refuse to speak with his daughter, but soon started to understand and welcomed and even started training her again.

At age 12, when Amaya was out on one of her hunting rounds with her mother in the human world, she got lost.

“Hmmm….” Amaya scratched her cheek, she had to admit, she got lost a lot… but something about this time, just didn’t sit well with her.
“Mmm, what a pretty little scent~” Amaya spun around, getting into a defensive stance as she looked towards the male that spoke up. “ What’s wrong, little girl, you lost?~”
The man emerged through the tree line, showing his tanned face as he smirked. His long crimson-colored hair flowed down past shoulder in a side pony-tail. He wore nothing on his feet nor chest, just a black trench-coat and slacks, which made it rather difficult for Amaya to concentrate, he only could be around 17, though once her nose caught scent of his smell, blood-red eyes were instantly to sea-foam green ones widening,
“Werewolf….” She was rather surprised, they weren’t known to hunt this far up north in the current forest, they only had territory in the very southwest of the forest.
“you have a pretty sharp nose,” He let out a slight chuckle, “for a mutt…” two more of them appeared behind him through the trees, laughing with him.
Amaya’s eye twitched, “mutt, huh? Your no different then me!”
He was in front of her in a second, so close she almost stumbled back. ‘Same, huh?” he growled in her ear, “Your wrong, mongrel! We‘re wolves, you’re just a worthless mutt breed, you should be shaking in terror at our feet!” He tried to grab her shoulder, but she dodged to the side and kneed him in the stomach, causing him to slide back. “tch!” he grunted, “your going to pay for that, lets see if you can dodge three of us!”
She blinked, she countered the two rather easily, but her ear twitched as she felt the one that seemed to be the leader appear behind her, putting her into a hold. “gah!” he held her tightly, she heard a couple of her bones break from the force, “let go!”
They laughed again, “Hey, Hiru, what do you want to do with the bitch?” the shorter one asked.
“Can we ear her, Hiru?~” the other one in front of her purred, her eyes widened and she tried struggling again, she almost broke free until the other two helped hold her down.
“No, she’ll be our mutt~” the one they called “Hiru” spoke from behind her, he tossed the shorter one a collar, still holding onto the end of the chain attached to it. “Put it on the stupid dog!”
She struggled yet again as the collar got fastened tightly to her throat, almost making her choke. “S-Stop!” She finally overpowered them, going to punch one but Hiru pulled the chain, forcing her on her knees coughing as the collar tightened. Her eye twitched, she tried to break the chain but it wouldn’t weaken at all.
“ha-ha, don’t even try it, if you haven’t noticed that’s no ordinary chain” Hiru whispered in her ear. “it punishes you if you disobey, and only I can break it~” He dodged her punch, “give up already, you’re my dog now!”
Her eye twitched, “I’m not YOUR “dog“, nor will I ever be!”
Hiru blinked “you’re a rather feisty pup, huh… well then~” He leaned closer “I DEMAND you as mine” he was mocking their mating Tradition as he chuckled, probably thinking she‘d be stupid enough listen to his ever command now. She growled, that’s it, she had enough of this bull crap! She lunged at him, tackling him to the ground, getting in a couple good punches. “the fuck-!?” She was pulled off by the other two and thrown to the ground.
That’s when her mother tackled one to the ground, Amaya watched them all turn from her, to her mother.
They Stood above her, kicking and punching her every time she tried to even move. “see Their just worthless mutts!” they laughed “useless piece of dog meat!!” Amaya’s eyes widened, she watched as the beat on her mother. She tried to get up to help but every time she tried the collar would tighten and force her back to her knees. That didn’t stop her though, she kept trying to get up, flinching as the collar started reaching the point that blood was dripping down from underneath it. “L-Leave her alone!” she tried to cough out.
Hiru grinned at this, “oh? You don’t like it” He held Shoushi up by the throat, “then watch this~” He plunged his hand into her chest, Amaya watching as her mother turned pale and lifeless in front of her.
“N-No!” Amaya’s eyes started to tear, then they grew lifeless, a calm deadly look “I kill you!” she said through clenched teeth, a shadow-like fire starting to swirl around her feet. The three werewolves’ eyes widen, Hiru dropped Shoushi’s body and-

---Amaya’s memory of the incident past there is blank, she cant remember anything except her vision blurry as her father yelled her name, the chain on the collar she had was snapped and everything was decaying, ash falling like snow around them---

Amaya refused to take off the collar after that day, she wears it to remind herself of how she couldn’t help her mother. She only thought of herself as a worthless mutt, because they were right, she was useless, she sat there watching her mother die before her, and she doesn’t even know what happened afterwards… She went into a daze, spending half a year mourning her mother.

Her father was worried, he became clingy, not wanting to loss his daughter as well. He even got her a new maid, and master to train her, hoping that may bring the daughter he knew back. It took the rest off the year but after awhile Amaya did seem to get some of her spark back.

Amaya was still refused to take the collar off, and the people still avoided her like she was taint, even more now that they blamed her for their best medic’s death… but she had her father*, her master, (Tori)* and her maid (Seara)*, which was all she could ask for. She spent her last 4 years rebuilding herself to the girl she is today.

~Nowadays Notes~

-Amaya still has an edge of distrust towards males, since she had so little, even more so positive, male contact shes afraid of getting close. If they do get to close, she gets abit nervous and tends to turn violent and punch them before even thinking about it.

-Amaya still belives shes forrbidden to have a mate, she thought it may have changed since she was out of the clan, but if something wrong happens she tends to think its a sign of her curse.

-Amaya doesn’t count her past against werewolves, she knows their not all like what she faced, but she is still on more of a guard around them then others.

-Amaya still doesnt know what happened to the werewolves that killed her mother because of her blackout. The elders only found two piles of ash with their scent, but the falling ash blocked any knowledge of the possible third one.

-Amaya will tend to zone out and unconsciously play with that chain on her collar when thinking about her past

-Amaya still has scars under her collar from her incedent from the werewolves, since she practically was trying to decapate herself ro get to her mother.

-Amaya refuses to let anyone see her cry, she thinks it’s a sign of how worthless she is, and doesn’t want anyone else to see it, so she tends to hide behind her bubbly self until she’s alone

Footnotes:

*”Claiming Dominance” is the form of mating tradition for the Anei Clan. A male will forcibly claim a woman as his, challenging any and all other men in the clan to fight for her. The woman will have no word in the claim, and is to be a loyal mate until either another male defeats him in a fight to the death over her or he releases her himself. Unlike most other Hell Hound clans which found this sexist and changed their mating traditions, the Anei Clan honors their old traditions as holy, and refused to change them.

*In the Anei Clan, the “proper” way to give a deceased a burial, is to cover them in ash and burn them. It is a traditional way to honor their religion.

*The Anei Clan holds their traditions very seriously, their elders punishing anyone who goes against them without second thought or question. They usually force the “accused” into their human form, and strip them of their clothes, to show they’re in their most vulnerable form and that all their secrets are revealed. They then whip the accused to near death as to face their sins, and have them leave the body through the blood spilling out of their backs. After that then they finish the punishment accordingly depending on what the accused did.

*Amaya’s mother, Shoushi , was an expert medic in the Anei Clan, she was rather weak in fighting, but honored in the highest as a medic. After Amaya’s indecent with Damien, she decided to take her to the human world and teach her about tracking, plants, and medicine as much as she possible, so her daughter didn’t have to deal with the social awkwardness.

*Amaya’s father, Rein, was a well known hunter in the clan, known as one of the best hunters, he’s treated as somewhat royal, which is why he hires trainers and maids to keep up with his work.

*Tori, Amaya’s second master was known for his unique styles of fighting, though he was lacking in magic, Amaya only knows limited amount of magic because she was only trained in it for 2 years under Damien. Tori was a real “ladies man” and prankster, a lot of Amaya’s personality came from hanging around Tori so much, they became very close like brother and sister, though Tori may think of it as something abit different

*Seara is often shy and reserved, but with dealing with the 3 idiots (Amaya, Rein, and Tori), as she puts it, she lets a rough boss-like vision take over, though if she didn’t they’d probably tear the house down… and she’d have to clean it. She spent a lot of time helping Amaya through her emotional issues, though she was close to Tori, she knew that him being male still gave Amaya an edge on their trust. Seara found it stupid the way people avoided Amaya, but was happy at least her and Tori got to see the real her.
